Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law and set out the terms under which Shoreline Stoneware Pottery & Gallery Limited makes its products available to you.
Shoreline Stoneware Pottery & Gallery online shop is operated by Shoreline Stoneware Pottery & Gallery Ltd. We are registered in Scotland under the company number SC732471 with our registered office at Shoreline Stoneware Pottery & Gallery Ltd, Locheport, North Uist, Outer Hebrides, HS6 5EU
ACCEPTANCE OF USE
Our online shop is only intended for use by people resident in the United Kingdom. All orders for goods placed by you via the website shall be deemed to be an offer by you, the buyer, to purchase goods to these terms and conditions. You, the buyer, shall be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the details provided in your order and we will not be obliged to accept an order unless all details requested have been provided correctly.
By placing an order you declare that:
(a) you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
(b) you are resident in the UK;
(c) you are placing your order from the UK;
(d) all details provided on your order for the purpose of purchasing the goods are correct.
All prices are in GBP (British Pound). The prices payable for the products that you order are clearly set out in the website. If, by mistake, we have under-priced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we despatch the item concerned. Shoreline Stoneware Pottery & Gallery Ltd reserves the right to alter the prices of the goods on offer online at any time without prior notice.
TAXES AND DUTIES
The total price we charge you for the Goods in your order includes all applicable taxes payable in the UK.
All of Shoreline Stoneware Pottery & Gallery Ltd products are subject to availability. All work is made by hand, here in North Uist, in the studio. If for any reason we don’t have your requested item already made and in stock, we will contact you within 3 working days of receiving your order and advise of the expected timescale.
As all products and services are subject to availability, there will be no contract of any kind between you and us unless and until we actually process and despatch the goods to you. At the moment that the goods are processed and despatched, and not before, a contract will be made between you and us.
You can pay via PayPal.
Your payment details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure. Authority for payment must be given at the time of order. You will be automatically charged for your order once your order has been acknowledged. Our liability to you in connection with any order will not exceed the total price charged for the relevant items.
Please note that sales through the website are to addresses within the UK. Delivery is by Royal Mail or Parcel Force. Orders will normally be dispatched within 3-5 working days from clearance of funds.
While we are happy to make shipments out with the UK, shipping costs will be agreed with you and paid for fully before shipment is made. Please contact us to discuss if you are interested.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
We hope you will be happy with your purchase. However, should you feel it necessary to return an item because it is faulty or different to what was ordered, we aim to make the returns process as simple as possible. Any goods returned, must be notified within 2 days of delivery and be returned in their original condition. We will refund the purchase within 30 days of you notifying us about the return. The cost of returning the product is the responsibility of the purchaser. Liability for loss or damage during transit is also the responsibility of the purchaser.
While breakages are thankfully very rare, they can occur. Photo evidence of breakage in transit will be sufficient and must be within 2 days of delivery. We will give you the option of having a refund or a replacement. If you opt for a refund: A refund will be made to the payment account used to make the purchase including postage charges incurred. If you opt for a replacement: A replacement will be sent out as soon as is possible after notification of breakage, usually within 3-5 working days.
